How classes are taught

As Bridge can be a very frontloaded game, students will be gradually introduced to Bridge concepts by being taught a concept before being able to play a couple hands with that concept.

Classes Offered

Courses are split into two different categories, introductory and advanced. Beginner classes introduce students to the game of Bridge while advanced teach deeper concepts relating to Bridge. Each class is FREE to enroll in!

One Day Workshop

With a duration of ~4 hours, students will be able to learn the basics of Bridge with topics that include dummy, trump suit, point counting, etc. However, bidding will not be taught. The first two hours of the workshop will be used to teach and the second half will be for organized play among students.

Introductory class

A more lengthy introductory course to Bridge, far more topics are covered, including bidding. Furthermore, strategies on how to win more tricks are taught from bidding strategies like bidding to game to playing strategies like finesse.

This class will be 5 weeks long. Each week will have one 2 hour long class and the final class will be a tournament where the winning teams receive a prize!

Advanced class

A continuation of the introductory class, much more advanced topics like throw in/elimination play, Cuebids, Stayman, slam bidding, card counting, and more. By the end of this class, students should be able to comfortably bid to game and win more tricks.

Like the introductory class, this class will be a 5 week long class with a 2 hour class each week, concluding with a tournament in the final week.

TBD

As the organization expands, more and more classes will be offered focusing on more niche topics like bidding or declarer play. Stay tuned!
