Introductory Class Information and Enrollment
Across five 2 hour sessions students will be able to learn how to play the full game of Bridge along with a variety of playing strategies to increase winning percentage. The first hour of each session will be for teaching and the second hour will be for playing hands. All supplies will be provided. Date and times for classes will be emailed out when enough people sign up for a class.
Curriculum
Week 1- Introductions, Point counting, Hand sorting, Basic Play, Discarding, Bridge Terms
Week 2- Dummy hand, Trump suits, Introduction to the concept of Bidding
Week 3- Declarer play- both suit and no trump strategies (Finesse, discarding losers, etc.) Opening bids
Week 4- Game bids, some more strategies
Week 5- Tournament
